UK Reiki Council:
The lead advisory body for Reiki Practitioners in the UK. Through its member associations, the Council represents the views of people giving reiki to the public across the four countries of the UK. It is a non-profit making body that sets standards and guidelines and provides information and advice. The Reiki Council aims to offer a platform for all styles of Usui Reiki and its guidelines are non-style specific.
As the lead body for Reiki practitioners in the UK, the Council believes all publicly practising reiki practitioners can choose if they wish to join a national register and who they prefer to register with. Currently, there is no legal requirement or obligation for reiki practitioners to register with any regulatory authority in the UK.
UK Reiki Federation:
An independent federation of individuals who have been attuned to Reiki with the objective of providing support and guidance to reiki professionals and to the public, with particular reference to education, training, and the public practice of Reiki.

It provides practical support to its members and protects the public's health by ensuring high standards in both training and practice.

The International Center for Reiki Training:
Founded as a Spiritual Development Center in 1988 by its President, William Lee Rand, the ICRT added Reiki training to its curriculum a year later, and in 1997 international Reiki training became its sole focus alongside its Licensed Teacher Program.
The ICRT practises its own style of Reiki whilst acknowledging the value offered by other schools and lineages. It encourages students to research the Reiki training available to them and use their intuitive guidance in deciding who to take classes with.
